Editorial Policy

These are the standards we hold our content to, article by article and question by question.

Accuracy First

We write about rules and formats as they are officially defined, not as they're commonly misunderstood. Where a popular belief about a rule is incorrect, we aim to correct it rather than repeat it.

No Betting Content

YieldYearn Sports does not publish odds, lines, predictions, promotions, or any content designed to facilitate wagering. Our content is educational: it explains how sports work, not how to bet on them.

Independence

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any league, federation, team, or athlete. We do not display team or league logos, and nothing on this site should be read as an official statement from any sports organization.

No Fabricated Facts

We do not invent statistics, records, or historical claims. When we're not confident a detail is accurate, we leave it out rather than guess. We also avoid rumor-based content and do not publish athlete profiles or biographical claims that could go stale or be inaccurate.

Durable, Rules-Based Content

Our articles and quiz questions focus on material that remains true over time — rules, formats, scoring systems, and terminology — rather than current standings, rosters, or recent results, which we intentionally avoid.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it. See our Corrections page for how to flag an issue and how we handle it.

No Advertising (Currently)

At this stage, YieldYearn Sports does not run advertising. If that changes in the future, any sponsored or promotional content will be clearly labeled as such.
